XRAFSTAR
Xrafstar (“evil animal” in Middle Persian) are vermin/human hybrids. It is forbidden for Ahriman to directly attack humanity, so xrafstar come from possession and contracts.
Aristocrats are dynastic haunts, passing down their personalities through human vessels instead of giving birth to heirs. This is a lossy process that can lead to hyper-dementia.
Many aristocrats have an insect type (flies, mosquitos, bees, worms, etc) that influences their aesthetic and how they infect others with their personas. Something goes inside you and changes you.
They practice atavistic terraforming, manifesting their ancient regime into the modern day. Torture, slavery, and despair is the water they swim in.
Non-insectile aristocrats
The asbestos and petroleum courts are poorly understood, but their modern-day vestiges are protected by fascist governments in exchange for power. They are either completely insane by now, or furthering a plot with geological patience.
Vermin (or simply xrafstar) are humans who were infested by Ahrimanic pollution, usually at an early age. Instead of being possessed by a single personality, they have a fractured mind, developing in free chaos, unlike the aristocrats, who only become more canon with time.
Daeva have an overtly monstrous anthro form and are kind of stupid tourists, bizarre hobbyists, strange merchants and collectors. They tend to occupy a trickster archetype to avoid being detected by God. They’re something between human/animal/spirit, very old and playful, feral Ahrimanic mercenaries.
God
God, or Ohrmazd, is also limited to human vessels. Ordinary people are selected to become peacock angels, also known as haloforms. This can be a deeply traumatic experience.
The forces of Ohrmazd typically blind any xrafstar they find. Peacock angels can use the eyes on their wings to emit retina-frying light or mesmerizing pulses. Captured xrafstar are then locked into penance lanterns, etc.
Angels are highly valuable on the pink market. Illegal labs vivisect them for freshness and break them down for parts.
FUEL
Xrafstar have three primary fuel sources:
1) Bacteria.
2) Sugar.
3) Violence.
Perfect drinks a lot of soda. He craves it on a deep physical level.
Fuel drives you insane if you can’t control it. It can be channeled into supra-pheromones or darkfashion, a process known as going instar.
INNOCENT
INNOCENT is an organization that resists Ahrimanic infestation, functioning as cosmic pest control. It began in the medieval era as a branch of the church, but is now highly secular and scientized, attempting to maintain modernity against temporal revanche.
