This game is the same universe as xrafstar killers, with the same character. as a girl. The RPG Maker game is incredibly beautiful and I’d like to turn it into a little prologue or something later, and pursue the story I was writing with it. But focus is paramount, don’t you agree?

Clearly women and girls are back baby… but why? What, if anything, is behind their current resurgence? Also you mentioned that the RPG maker game aka boy game may function as a prologue to the girl game at some point – has making girl game changed the story you would want to tell with boy game or just clarified its position in the world?
This also may be a silly convoluted question but I thought Xrafstar Killers was an in-universe franchise that Cancer loves (he’s read a library book, played a game, and I think watched a tv show about it). So do both of these games take place within that fictional franchise but with Cancer as a character?! Or am i way confused. Boy game felt like it took place in a blood-soaked ruined dungeon dimension whereas girl game is so domestic and interior and the blood is your own. It’s crazy and cool to think it is the same world. I just want to see as much of the connective tissue as possible

also, for the qna, there’s something i’ve had in mind for quite a while as an arabic-speaking fan of your work. i remember seeing a newsletter where you shared gameplay footage that contained arabic writing and i was awfully excited, but that combined with cancer’s kohl wearing in one of the pieces of fanart you hosted got me curious. i’d love to hear your thought process behind these inclusions as they pertain to cancer’s character specifically, and if they ever factored into building halo atoll and deciding how its environment both social and geographical looks like, kinda similar to how zoroastrianism underpins so much of your work (ahriman…)
