Perfect Tense: Maggot Therapy

hand-drawn dark BL game for PC
brothers | maggots | zoroastrian myth

by me and Evan, with music by Esper99 and me

what is there to say? Evan’s art is very special to me and I wanted to showcase it. we made it in a leisurely way, leaving things for each other like dead animals on a doorstep.

It is the most sophisticated game I’ve made (I’m bad at code so it’s a big deal for me!! (I hope it will add a feeling of peril to every click, like a haunted house…)) and I learned a lot from it. If I make another game of any size and outlay, I would like it to be a “walky aroundy” horror game with dating elements and my special insane ideas about time and space and water and fashion, although I would need the right art and probably a co-programmer for it (or plugin writer if I used rpgmaker) and it’s such an endeavor that I ought to catch up on my linear writing first, and then see about such vain things.

this will likely be the last Perfect Tense game, as I explore other “agents” and show other corners of the universe. β™‹

TRIVIA
✦ The songs I did are: the maggot one πŸ§€πŸ’¦ and the daeva theme πŸ‘οΈβ€πŸ—¨οΈπŸ‘…. and of course the sounds of pain and distress…
✦ the visuals I did are: the animated FX, and the director intro. and the menu bar…
✦ the dialog sounds are randomly pitch shifted to add variance and pareidolia.

2 grubs honk balefully on “perfect tense: maggot therapy
